The Studio

Pallas Ferraro is a scent designer specializing in sensory branding for hospitality and lifestyle spaces. Her work is informed by years spent living and working across South America and Europe, where she developed a deep fluency in the cultures, landscapes, and botanicals that shape her compositions. She has created signature scents for some of the world's most respected hotels and restaurants, including Frama, Nobu, and Ace Hotel. Working exclusively with finely sourced, ethically harvested ingredients, Pallas designs fragrances that bring depth, atmosphere, and a considered sense of place to every environment.

  • Work directly with Pallas on an hourly basis to explore and shape a scent from the ground up. This is where every fragrance begins: a collaborative process of discovery, guided by your brand, story, or space and refined through Pallas's expertise. Hourly consultation is ideal for the early stages of creation, allowing the time and space to experiment, adjust, and arrive at a formula that feels entirely your own. You're only committing to the design process itself, with the freedom to decide how to move forward once your scent takes shape. From here, your finished formula can be licensed, manufactured, or owned outright.

  • Once your custom scent has been formulated, there are three ways to move forward.

    Licensing
    Use your custom scent under a licensing agreement for a defined period. You hold the rights to work with the formula while it remains owned by Pallas Ferraro. This allows you to bring the scent into your space, product, or event without purchasing it outright.

    Manufacturing
    Have your custom scent produced as a finished product, ready to be combined with your select products. Pallas makes every batch with care to preserve the integrity of the original composition.

    Ownership
    Purchase your custom formula outright and make it exclusively yours. Full ownership grants you sole rights to the scent, so it belongs to your brand alone. The formula is yours to keep, and use indefinitely across your product line.

The process begins with an onboarding call to explore client needs and objectives. We will review brand guidelines and desired project outcomes to gain an understanding of what the brand or space is about while establishing project scope and timeline.

We only use the highest quality natural raw materials from sourcing partners that have been working in the space of creating refined organic plant essences for generations. Working with trusted labs and partners with certifications, we ensure that only the finest and most ethically harvested ingredients find their way into our creative work.

Design

Our collaborative design process begins with a review of scent landscapes to inspire and cultivate unique and captivating product potentials. We gather client feedback to achieve desired product profiles. Samples are typically completed within 4-6 weeks.

Educate

Beyond crafting scents, Pallas serves as a guide in educating clients on cultivating lifestyle branding of profound value and depth. We believe that the senses are powerful gateways to self-discovery and healing, and Pallas educates clients on the transformative potential of sensory engagement. We also assist in developing marketing and consumer communication materials when requested.
